  The playmaker went over Kroos' outstretched leg in the eighth minute of Spain's dramatic victory against Euro 2024 hosts Germany. The Barcelona midfielder was forced off and left the pitch in tears, likelyknowing his tournament was over. Pedri will not play again for Spain this tournament but will stay with the squad to continue his recovery from yet another injury.   Sport.es report that Barcelona may be granted compensation should Pedri's injury be serious. The outlet notes that under the FIFA club protection programme rules, UEFA will have to pay Barcelona €20,548 (£17,390/$22,000) for every day that Pedri is injured beyond one month. With Pedri expected to be out of action for at least a month-and-a-half, Barcelona may earn a fair compensation package.
